Customer Reviews

"Good evening Google Family. I googled closest breakfast spots after my incredible workout at the Edge Fitness Club in Plymouth Meeting. This location came up and I decided to come here and I am so glad that I did. I was seated but I needed to use the rest room before I ate. It was clean and neat. Then I ordered my food, my usual, grits, home fries and turkey bacon. They only give you two strips of bacon, most places give you at least three. I ordered also a hot chocolate without whipped cream. Everything was good. I ate quickly and then I networked with the people in the restaurant. I received a business card from a diner customer and I am going to follow up with her. I had a good experience here today and I would return. The lady server was nice. Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous, especially for people over 50 years of age."

"Very clean, excellent and kind waitress n server, and the food was perfect. This is definitely my new favorite dinner. I find so many waitresses these day are so rude but at this place especially at the dinner down the street from here, but this place i felt that hospitality and kindness that is rare these days, I believe its run by a family another rare thing these days. I highly recommend this small home town dinner "

"I'd give this place 10 stars if I could! The staff were so friendly and polite. Our food came out in about 5 minutes which for a family of 5 is almost unheard of, and the food was such high quality and cooked perfectly. Amazing diner!"

"There was sufficient parking. With inflation, portions felt smaller than expected. The men's bathroom didn't have paper towels. The restaurant forgot our bacon and was prepared to charge anyway before bringing it out. Food was okay. The poached eggs felt a little rubbery."

"This is my first time writing a review and it's only because of how much this experience rubbed me the wrong way. The food was, as many have pointed out, "just so-so" and the atmosphere was pretty much okay for what it was. I think what people ought to be aware of, and I'm kind of directing this right at the owner, is that you really need to adopt a more chill, friendly, and above-board vibe when dealing with customers. I came here with my wife a couple weekends ago and everything was going smoothly enough. When the owner asked me if I'd like to leave a tip on the card, he was gruff as hell and seemed to get annoyed with me for not understanding his English. I mean, this is what I mean by being service-minded. You don't have to be fake, but a little chill goes a long way in my book. When I told him I wanted to pay $41 even for the meal, he whipped out his little calculator and punched in some numbers. Well guess what my final bill was. Not $41, that's for sure. He had beefed up the tip by about $1.60 and unfortunately I didn't get a good look at the bill until we were already long gone. Sure, I guess that's on me, but, like, you can see what I'm getting at here. It's the principle of the thing. Whether his math sucks or he was actually trying to stiff me isn't really the point here. You should be thinking about the customer more, especially if it's your own business. I know it's not much, but by charging me extra, he ensured that I will never set foot in that place again and am taking this step to warn others not to go there. Just be kinder to people and they won't feel the need to write reviews like this."

"I came here over the weekend with my family and it's definitely a hidden gem in glenside! The host and the servers are so nice! I got the French toast platter with a side of hash browns, dad got the egg combo, sister got the eggs Benedict and i forget what my cousin got but we tore the food up! The prices are super reasonable and it's a great place if you want to sit down and grab a quick breakfast! It also has a parking lot. Great place for groups as well! I will definitely be back!"
